Amruta Fadnavis graces the Red Carpet at Cannes Festival 2022. Bags the Best Achievement Award for Social Contribution

Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis’ wife and Eminent Social worker Amruta Fadnavis, walked The Cannes Red Carpet 2022; received The Best Achievement Award for her social work as an activist for Maharashtra State.  Amruta is known for being a social activist as she along with her Divyaj Foundation had initiated to help acid attack victims and has also, initiated a musical talent show for underprivileged school children between the ages of 7 to 15 from the slums of Mumbai.

Amruta Fadnavis was one of the prominent dignitaries and speakers at the ‘Mastermind’ Forum. She spoke at the ‘Mastermind’ forum and was there to raise awareness about food, health, and sustainability organized by Better World Fund. Amruta also walked down the Cannes red carpet with the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire – Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, Princess Ghida Talal, Sharon Stone, and a few others. The Better World Fund had organized awards night. These awards were to honor and praise individuals who are creating meaningful and significant changes, positively impacting/influencing the world, and transforming our agriculture and food systems.

Amruta is the first woman to win this honor despite not being from the Film Fraternity. Amruta has been active as a singer and social activist along with being a banker. For those unknown, the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival began on May 17, 2022, in France, The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes. As a first, India has been selected as the ‘Country of Honor’ at the Marche du Cinema, which is the trade counterpart of the Cannes Film Festival.
